he WSCAI Legislative Action Committee is comprised of managers, attorneys, and homeowners. These individuals


represent homeowner interests on the LAC and  needs of homeowner members across the state of Washington. WSCAI has nearly 1,300 homeowner members and that number is growing.


Our homeowner members are by far our largest membership group. Input from this membership group is critical when it comes to legislative activity from Olympia to Washington D.C. We encourage all homeowner members to learn more about the homeowners on the LAC by reading  interest, and we encourage you to contact the LAC or one of the homeowner members listed should you have an issue the LAC may be suited to address.

Marjean Knight


 in late 2023 having served in various capacities on other WSCAI committees. She has lived in Lynnwood for the  board president for seven years. As a member of WSCAI   social work before moving to a position as a program  service to others, which makes her a great representative for 

Yong Zhang


Also a new homeowner member of the LAC, Yong   opportunity to speak on behalf of our retiree homeowner members. Yong lives in the large-scale planned community of Mill Creek, providing additional insight into a special type of community within Washington. As an active homeowner in his community, Yong has worked hard to make his community the standard of a well run community in Washington.


Yong is able to represent our retiree homeowners.


Maryann Smith


Maryann is our longest serving homeowner on the LAC, now in her second term. Her wisdom and insight has been invaluable to the LAC and WSCAI overall. As an active participant in WSCAI, who is always willing to  House Board of Directors. Maryann values being part of a team that works to protect the rights of property owners and volunteers.
