BALANCED ENVIRONMENTS, INC. achieves the Highest Score in the category of Commercial Maintenance—wins both GOLD & PLATINUM Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA) Awards for Rosalind Franklin University!
The canvas is a 97-acre masterpiece, featuring 48 acres of meticulously groomed campus and 20 acres of non-permeable parking lot. From the tree-lined landscapes to dormitories, interconnected educational buildings, sports fields, and more, BEI’s mission is clear — to create a serene environment where students can thrive academically while embracing the natural surroundings as a home away from home at Rosalind Franklin University.
As BEI commemorates two decades of partnership with Rosalind Franklin University, we are thrilled to share this remarkable journey. Since April 1, 2004, we’ve had the honor of tending to the 97-acre medical school campus, nestled in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
We are equally proud to announce we were awarded both Gold and Platinum Illinois Landscape Contractors Association Awards at the yearly ILCA awards dinner on January 30, 2024 for the Rosalind Franklin University property. BEI also achieved the highest score in the category of Commercial Maintenance.
Our dedicated team, including Owner, Bruce Church, Vice President Tom Kelly and Maintenance Superintendent Jerry Jimenez with over 15 years on-site service, have been the backbone of our success at RFU. Working in harmony with contractors, military authorities, and security details, we’ve transformed challenges into opportunities for use and curb appeal enjoyed by students, staff and guests of the university.
