WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING AGC CEF – Stronger Than Ever
By Erin Volk, Vice President, Workforce & Operations
As part of AGC of Califor-
nia’s efforts to focus on aligning our member-centric services to better serve you, our members, now and into the future, the AGC Construction Education Foundation (CEF) is following suit. CEF is our vehicle to advance workforce development in the construction industry, and by bringing in new and existing programs and events under the Foundation, we’re able to take advantage of exciting opportunities. Both the Training & Education
and the Safety & Health programs have moved under the CEF umbrella, enhancing our ability to successfully develop our industry’s workforce. In
addition to these new additions, CEF is strengthening our focus on devel- oping new opportunities to highlight the importance of social impact and philanthropy in the construction industry. In order to accomplish our
exciting goals as a revamped CEF, we
are actively bringing in new and existing team members. As we fill open positions, expect to see updates in your email inbox as well as upcoming issues of Constructor Magazine. I am excited about what the future
holds for CEF and look forward to sharing our continued successes! For more on the CEF programs and
services, call (916) 371-2422, email
