Over 65 AGC members gathered May 7th for AGC of California’s Delta-Sierra

district’s annual golf event at the Winchester Country Club Golf club, where they enjoyed a fun day of golf and networking and raised money for the charitable organi- zation Sierra Forever Families’ “Copper for Kids” campaign. Copper for Kids campaign started five years ago with the goal to get the

construction industry involved in getting children out of foster care and into permanent, loving families, according to Kitty Hoffman, development associate with Sierra Forever Families. She noted that by collecting scrap materials from work sites or other industry donations from nearly 75 partners, they have raised over $225,000 that supported the placement of more than 45 children. “Our Copper for Kids staff recently had the great opportunity to host the Casino

Hole at AGC’s Annual Golf Tournament where we got to see some of these current partners and introduce the cause to many more attendees,” Hoffman commented. “We were blown away by the generosity and kindness of every single person we met.” Numerous AGC member firms helped sponsor the annual tournament, including
