Kyle Brown A new title for a new year I

t’s a brand-new year. We’ve all gotten through the holidays in one form or another, and I hope everyone feels ready to take on the new year along with all of its challenges and op-

portunities. It’s the time when people are setting resolutions and getting plans in place, which makes it a perfect time for new beginnings. With that in mind, I’m excited to finally share with you the new Irrigation & Lighting magazine, focused on bring- ing you the most important news in these special- ized industries. Why don’t we take a quick tour? Let’s start with the new Irrigation & Lighting

website at irrigationandlighting.org. Tis is where you’ll find the most recent green industry headlines updated multiple times per week, as well as regular original exclusive features on topics such as sprin- kler pressure regulations and supply chain issues. Even though the print edition is quarterly, some of the columns you’ve gotten used to seeing on the page will have online extras as well. Some of our regular features such as the Close-Up profile will be exclusive to the website, so make certain to check back regularly and keep an eye on our newsletter. Te new website also acts as a hub for all of our

industry research and product specification sheets, such as our recent job management software survey. It’ll also serve as the main space to watch for our programs including the Changing the Landscape Awards and Watch Us Grow: Industry Standouts, celebrating the hard work done by professionals.

Next, let’s talk about the new print edition of

Irrigation & Lighting that you’re holding in your hands right now. In these pages, you’ll find our regular features on the biggest topics that industry professionals are facing, more specifically tailored to those working in irrigation and landscape light- ing. In each issue, you’ll find articles on those two topics, as well technology and business features that will help keep your company on the cutting edge regardless of what services you provide. We’ve also reimagined our departments to bring readers the most useful headlines and market information, from leading indicators to Irrigation Association news. Just as a reminder, the newest updates on these topics will always be available on our website and through our regular email newsletters. Each edition of the print magazine will also in-

clude one of our product specification charts such as the annual sprinkler charts later in these pages, as well as research or one of our award programs. Tese will also be available online in an easy down- loadable and shareable PDF form. In the case of our research, the online version will include all the extra statistics that we weren’t able to fit on the page!

Between the new magazine and new website,

there’s so much industry-specific content coming your way this year. Whether you’re an irrigation or landscape lighting professional, or a contrac- tor looking to learn about these market segments, we’re glad to have you with us.
