lending in 2013. He became a board director in 2019. Unnerstall joined the bank in 2014 as a credit analyst and was promoted to assistant vice president of commercial lending in 2018. He completed MBA’s School of Lending in 2016 and finished in the Top 10% of his class, earning an honor distinction. He also completed MBA’s Advanced School of Lending in 2017 and completed his studies with the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in July 2021. Brian Phillips joined
the bank as vice president of commercial lending. He has more than 21 years of lending experience that ranges from retail branch management to business banking to Small Business Administration lending and commercial lending. Gary Tod was named vice president of commercial lending. He has more than 18 years of commercial banking experience and portfolio concentrations in commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, and homebuilder finance.
Chris Wood was named senior vice president and head of the mortgage department at Central Bank in Jefferson City. Wood began his banking career in 2005 aſter serving as an Army Ranger in the 82nd Airborne Division. He has 16 years of banking experience.
Central Bank of the Ozarks in Springfield announced several staff promotions. As loan review officer, Erin Berendzen trains new loan review analysts and assists the loan review manager with risk assessment. She has more than 16 years of banking and lending experience. Michaele Vetsch-Floyd was promoted to vice president, senior retail sales manager and oversees the sales, service and operations of area branches. She has more than 24 years of banking experience. Jo Haas was promoted to assistant vice president, banking center manager at the Hammons facility. She has worked in banking for 19 years. Jose DelaTorre was promoted to retail officer, banking center manager of the bank’s North Kansas banking facility. He has more than four years of experience in the financial industry. Julie Pierce is serving as the bank’s organizational development officer and oversees the training, coaching and development programs. She has more than 20 years of banking experience and previously was the employee engagement and learning coordinator for Central Bank in Jefferson City. Abby Glenn joins the business banking team as business development specialist. She has more than seven years of business development experience. Caitlin Villalobos was named retail officer, banking center manager of Central Bank’s Springfield Plaza banking facility. She has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Sean Frey was named retail officer, banking center manager of Central Bank’s Nixa banking facility. He has more than six years of experience in the banking industry.
