MBA Honors Millington
As Young Banker of the Year customers and individuals in the community. Tis, along with the potential opportunities that banking offered, inspired Millington to pursue a career in community banking.
The Missouri Bankers Millington, community the 2021 Young Bankers Leadership Award. Tis award from MBA recognizes the outstanding achievement of a banker, age 45 or younger, employed by an MBA-member bank. Millington, who was chosen by a selection committee of bank leaders, was recognized Oct. 7 during the 2021 Young Bankers Leadership Conference in St. Louis.

“Craig possesses a diverse banking career,” said Brian Riedy, president and CEO of Mid-Missouri Bank. “His achievements align with this prestigious award.”
Millington’s banking background includes roles in multiple areas. His 15- year career has provided experiences in operations, loan underwriting and credit reviews, relationship building and management. He joined Mid-Missouri Bank in 2011 and has been promoted several times, most recently to community president in 2021.

During the pandemic, Millington played a significant role in the bank’s implementation of the Paycheck Protection Program.
“We relied upon Craig greatly to research and assist strategic direction within the loan functions at Mid- Missouri Bank,” Riedy said.
A graduate of Missouri State University in Springfield, Millington completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2018. He also completed MBA’s School of Lending
in 2015 and has attended MBA’s Young Bankers Leadership Conferences.
Millington is a member of Springfield Sertoma, which focuses on helping underserved youth in the Ozarks. He has served on the board of directors and chaired the Wingapalooza in 2018 and 2019. In both years, this event raised more than $100,000 for the Boys and Girls Club of Springfield. He also enjoys giving financial literacy presentations to middle school students.
