Taylor Kirkweg now serves as the lending officer for Central Bank in Tuscumbia. Kirkweg, who began her banking career in 2015, is responsible for both commercial and installment lending at the branch.

Sharon Schaefer has joined First Bank of the Lake in Osage Beach as vice president, director of
BSA/AML & BSA officer. She is responsible for administering and managing the bank’s program of compliance with BSA, OFAC and AML rules and regulations. Schaefer has more than 38 years of banking experience and received her certification as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist in 2012.

at Guaranty Bank in Springfield. In her new role, she leads departments that include branch banking, consumer lending, operations,
human resources and marketing Rutledge, who has more than 25 years of banking experience, joined Guaranty Bank in 2014 as senior vice president and director of consumer sales and customer experience. Guaranty Bank promoted Ryan Bowling to assistant vice president, marketing communications officer. Bowling has more than 17 years of marketing and communications experience. He joined the bank in 2014 as an online marketing specialist and was promoted to assistant vice president, digital marketing specialist in 2018. Bowling is currently a current member of MBA’s Banking Leadership Missouri class.

Karlos Ramirez has joined Midwest BankCentre in St. Louis as vice president of community engagement and business development. He previously led the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis as president and CEO. In his new role, Ramirez is broadening the bank’s network for transforming local communities. His work supports the bank’s new five-year goal of lending $200 million to nonprofits,
faith-based institutions, community development projects and small businesses to benefit historically disinvested, marginalized communities.

Old Missouri Bank in Springfield recently announced staff promotions. Cody Hansen was promoted to senior vice president, chief credit officer. Hansen began his career at OMB in April 2019 as senior vice president, credit review manager. He has nearly 20 years of banking experience, including work with the Missouri Division of Finance. Luke Hansen was promoted to senior vice president, chief risk officer. Hansen has been in banking for 20 years, five of which as a compliance officer with OMB. Ryan Sutherland was
promoted to senior vice president, senior commercial lender. Sutherland began his career at OMB in August 2016 as senior vice president, loan office and has amassed more than 20 years within banking. Eric Vandergriff was promoted to senior vice president, retail and deposit operations. Vandergriff has been in the banking industry for 15 years, starting at OMB in October 2017 as vice president, retail operations. Crystle Stranghoener was promoted to vice president, Bank Secrecy Act officer. Stranghoener is a banking industry veteran with 17 years to her name, starting at OMB in February 2019 as assistant vice president, BSA compliance specialist. Chad Riecke was promoted to assistant vice president, retail operations. Rieke has been in the banking industry for 13 years and began his career at OMB in April 2017 as a personal banker. He most recently was the branch manager for the National and Sunshine branches. Andy Rowland has been promoted to system administrator. Rowland, who began his career in the banking industry with OMB in May 2018, has been in information technology for 20 years. He previously the bank’s network support technician and now has a more active role in vendor relations.
RETIREMENT
Bill Dana, vice chairman of Central Bank of Kansas City, has retired aſter 30 years of service. Under his leadership, the bank has become a leader in offering various banking services to its customer base. As a certified Community Development Financial Institution since 1998, the bank has directed capital to underserved communities through financing high-impact, mission-focused projects under Dana’s leadership. He will continue
to serve as a member of the bank’s board and will be involved with CBKC CDC, LLC, which is an affiliate that allocates the placement of New Markets Tax Credits awarded by the US Treasury’s CDFI Fund. Dana is a past MBA chairman and a member of MBA’s 50 Year Club.
