Accurex Accurex, a manufacturer specializing in commercial kitchen ventilation,
announced the appointment of Jackson Smith as vice president. In his new role, Smith will be responsible for overseeing Accurex’s fi eld sales, business development and aftermarket service and support.
Smith brings a wealth of experience to this new position, having worked for more than 17 years with the Greenheck Group, a ventilation products manufacturer. He most recently served as the general manager of architectural products. “We are thrilled to

Alto-Shaam
In a move intended to enhance its culinary and product team, Alto-Shaam has promoted Kristina Bladecki to corporate executive chef. In her new role, Bladecki will work closely with Alto- Shaam’s sales department, dealers, sales representatives,

and end users to help drive sales across all product lines. Through recipe creation and development, product testing and product demonstrations, she will support new development launches. After joining Alto-Shaam in 2011 as a marketing assistant, Bladecki transitioned to the business’ culinary team as a culinary assistant. From there she was promoted to corporate executive sous chef and subsequently to corporate chef. She is a third-generation Alto- Shaam employee and is the granddaughter of Alto-Shaam founder Jerry Maahs.

Hawk, Inc.
Hawk, Inc., a dealer based in Central Alabama, announced several executive leadership changes with the passing of company co-founder and industry leader Richard Hawk. Jeremy Hawk, a 25-year veteran of Hawk, Inc., has been appointed president, taking over his father and co-founder Dan Hawk’s position. He will oversee all day-to-day operations and has previously held active roles in all functional areas of the business. Before joining Hawk, Inc., Jeremy Hawk installed computer networking infrastructure and various networking systems in casinos, hospitals and convention centers. During his tenure at Hawk, he’s created many of the company’s operational systems, designed and launched Hawk’s 15,000-square foot retail store and developed their new e-commerce platform.
