Ali Group Ali Group North America announced leadership changes for three of the manufacturer’s American brands.
Oscar Villa was named
president of Frymaster, a Welbilt brand. Villa will be responsible for the day- to-day management of Frymaster operations. In 2013, he joined Ali Group S.p.A. in Milan as corporate controller before transitioning to the role of corporate controller in the Ali Group’s Chicago offi ce in 2014. He later transitioned to the Ali Group North America – Refrigeration Division as CFO and became president of the division in 2019. At Frymaster, Villa succeeds Brian Holdrich as president.
Replacing Villa as
president of Ali Group North America’s refrigeration division is Will Means. In his new role, Means will be responsible for the day-to- day management of the Beverage-Air and Victory Refrigeration brands. He joined Champion Industries in 2007 in a sales quoting position. Throughout his tenure, he has advanced from regional sales manager

to vice president of sales to general manager. Since 2019, he has served as president of Champion Industries (Champion and Bi-Line). Means’ move to the
refrigeration division leaves a vacancy at the head of Champion that will be fi lled by Scott Cherevaty. As president of the Champion Group, Cherevaty will lead the Champion, Bi-Line and Moyer Diebel brands. He originally joined Champion Industries as national sales manager in 2004 and moved to the role of director of sales in 2008. Two years later, Cherevaty returned to Canada and took on the role of vice president of sales for Champion Moyer Diebel Canada. He was promoted to general manager in 2015 and has served as president of Champion Moyer Diebel Canada since 2019.
Alto-Shaam Alto-Shaam hired Tamara Scott as its new regional sales manager in the Southeast region.
In her new role, Scott
will be responsible for the management and development of key relationships with dealers,
consultants and major manufacturer representatives throughout the region. Acting as the primary point of contact for Alto-Shaam, Scott will help foster a lasting customer experience. With more than 20 years of experience working within the food industry, including engagement in the Southeast market, Scott has a wealth of knowledge and familiarity that will benefi t her new role. “Tamara’s proven experience within both the industry as well as management highlights her exemplary skills in sales support towards key customers and partners,” Matt Webber, vice president of general market sales, said.
Boston Showcase Company Boston Showcase Company announced the fourth generation of family leadership to run the business, cousins Andy Starr and Matt Starr. Andy Starr was named CEO, the fi rst ever in company history, and will focus primarily on inside and outside sales, fi nance and accounting and smallwares operations. Matt Starr will become the fi fth president for the 109-year-old company
concentrating on business development, project management, equipment layout and design services, and equipment operations. Alan Starr and his brother Jack Starr, the current president and vice president, will assume the role of owner as they continue to actively work in the business. “Nothing makes Jack and I happier than to begin the transition of handing over the business to our children,” Alan Starr said. “We were fortunate to inherit the business from our father and have been amazed by the work that Matt and Andy have put in for the past 15 years to get to this point.”
