perform to make our facilities look better and our equipment work better. The list they created had 174 projects…some requiring only labor and some requir- ing labor and equipment. The list was prioritized and the top projects are in motion.
I’ve included photos of work completed so far: • The exteriors of Swiss Cottage and Agape Cottage were repainted. We have also repainted the exteriors of York and White Oak Cottages.

ur normal September through November calen- dar would be filled with
guest groups, and we always en- joy hosting thousands of youth and adults during this beautiful time of year. However, such is not the case this year. Bonclarken is going to be a quiet place for the fall of 2020. However, a silver lining in this pandemic cloud can be found, and that silver lining is time. Our staff will have the time during the next few weeks to complete facility proj- ects we have been wanting to do for many years. I would like to tell you about these projects so that on your next visit you can notice these im- provements. In August, I asked the staff to cre- ate a list of projects which they could
• Twenty-five years of graffiti (most of it wholesome) was cleaned off the youth cottage bunk beds and each section was sanded and repainted.
Other projects include the renovation of the interiors of Camp Cabins 1, 2,
and 3, painting the interior of Memorial Hall, repairing the bell tower on the top of Draffin Hall, repairing the Climbing Tower, repairing the deck behind the Rec Building, and many, many other projects. These projects require funds and we are extremely blessed to have generous
donors who are providing the means. And, we are blessed to have a multi- talented staff who are willing to work in any capacity to improve our facilities. As pleased as I am to have these projects completed, I certainly look forward
to the day when our grounds are filled with guests and our staff is busy serv- ing. On your next visit, be sure to ask me to point out some of these wonderful improvements.?
