y May articles generally focus on our upcoming summer season, with information on our summer schedule and our preparation for thousands of guests to spend time in this “Christian environment


for inspiration and renewal.” This May, as you know, is a little different. The pandemic has caused Syn-


od to postpone from June until August. Horizon, Quest, Music Conference, all four sessions of Camp Joy, and both sessions of Joni and Friends have cancelled. We continue to pray that Camp Bonclarken, Music Drama Camp,


and Family Bible Conference will be able to meet in some fashion. Each April, we host Volunteer Work Week, where we welcome 150+ volunteers who do incredible amounts of work for us. We were unable to host Work Week as well. To honor these events that will not be with us this year, I am making four photos the core of my article this month.


These photos are from Horizon, Camp Joy, Volunteer Work Week, and Music Conference. As I said in my last article, “We are still here.” And we are looking forward to the day our grounds are again filled
