“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, those who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

worried, bitter, angry, or depressed, what happens if we give thanks instead? In situations that tempt us to feel like   we do it, once we stand in faith that God is taking care of us and actually give Him thanks for doing it, then it opens the door for emotions like joy and peace to follow. 

 Him thanks, then we “have the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen,” (Hebrews 11:1). If we give Him thanks, then “we are not looking at the things which are seen, (the outward circumstances of our lives)  but the thing which are not seen are eternal,” (2 Cor. 4:18). This changes the game, or impacts our lives considerably. Until you give thanks, you are focused on the temporary passing trial. Until you give thanks, your assurance of things hoped for and conviction of things not seen is quite weak indeed! I think we all too often live our lives as  Learn to give thanks always for all things. He who trusts in Him will never be put to shame! (Romans 10:11). This 
