WELCOME – RECOGNITION – INSTALLATION SERVICE
HELD FOR JUAHN COMMUNITY CHURCH July 17, 2022 was a special day for Northeast Presbytery as the JuAhn Com- munity Church of Wallingford, PA was welcomed and recognized as a mission congregation of Notheast Presbytery and the Rev. Young Kyun Park was recog- nized and installed as Pastor. Rev. Daniel Rhee, Chairman of the Korean Sub-Committee of the Credentials
Team of Northeast Presbytery, in addition to preaching during the Worship Ser- vice, presided over the Welcome-Recognition-Installation Service. Rev. GJ Gerard, Chairman of the Korean Transition-Administrative Commis- sion of Northeast Presbytery, welcomed the Congregation and upon the standing - tion of Northeast Presbytery. Rev. Gerard subsequently welcomed Rev. Young Kyun Park, and upon his
declared Rev. Park to be the installed Pastor of the JuAhn Church. The Rev. Jack Van Dyk, Moderator of Northeast Presbytery brought a warm and thoughtful message of congratulations to the Congregation and to Rev. Park. The Choir of the JuAhn Church provided special music which was prepared for the Welcome Service. Also participating was the Rev. Ray Kim, Pastor of a nearby Korean congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, who is a good friend of the JuAhn Congregation and Pastor Park. The JuAhn Church is located about 15 miles southwest of Philadelphia in a historic area of Pennsylvania. The mission congregation was established by Rev. Park in early 2021 and has grown to include some 20 families with an average attendance in the 30’s including youth and children. The JuAhn Church meets in the Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Wallingford, with worship services at 2 PM every Sunday and with additional programs during the week. The church has a well-designed and very informative website at
www.juahnchurch.org and welcomes guests to visit and participate in all of its services and programs.
Rev. Seth Philbrick Ordained
Reverend Seth Philbrick was ordained and installed by the commis- sion from Tennessee/Alabama Presbytery on August 28, 2022 as the Associate Pastor of Fayetteville ARP Church.
