id you know that Centennial ARP Church in Columbia, SC, has a Soup Kitchen ministry that has been serving the homeless community of Co- lumbia since the mid-1980s? It started off as an actual SOUP KITCHEN in our fellowship hall, but due to a couple of unfortunate incidents in the late 1980s,  with the Oliver Gospel Mission here in Columbia to provide individual bagged - - markable, to say the least, that we’ve sustained this ministry without missing a beat   Currently, in partnership with Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church, students

and staff from Covenant Classical Christian School, and scouts and leaders from BSA Troop 3, nine teams in  well spent in fellowship and the promise of serving others less fortunate that live in our community. 


  We’ve also had some special opportunities to serve not only the men at Oliver Gospel Mission but also the women and children who served the Mission’s shelter for that demographic at Toby’s Place. We’ve had teams  This ministry is funded by contributions from the churches involved and also from our Souper Bowl Sunday collections which we had to suspend during COVID. This year we were able to restart our Souper Bowl Sun-  soup to share and donated a little over $1500 during the month of February that will be used to continue our   Sharing God’s Love which is a local ministry located in Irmo, SC.  
