 Place” is, I know that she would reply that it is at the beach! Others might say it is a lake, either on the dock


 say it is in her recliner, reading a good book (or maybe   to music.       


 will be no more suffering or illness. The things that cause me distress here on earth, such as the nightly news, or annoying telemarketer phone calls, or aches and pains that increase with age, will no longer be a part of my heavenly “life.” 


From the age of twelve, it has always been a place that is near and dear to my heart. I have enjoyed being a youth at retreats and conferences; my church has had retreats there; I have been a Camp Bonclarken counselor; my family has spent a lot of “quality time” at our church’s cottage there; I’ve attended Presbyterial retreats, ARPWM board meetings, Family Bible Conferences … There is always something to do or see, or learn at Bonclarken. And most importantly, I always leave Bonclarken feeling refreshed and renewed  there. Yes, I like the beach, and I like to read a good book, but Bonclarken will always be my         plans to go there at least once this year, it is time to decide what you can attend.
