REGISTRATION AND HOUSING NOW OPEN FOR TPI’S INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE IN CHARLOTTE! FEBRUARY 18-20, 2019 CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - USA
Planning continues for the 2019 International Education Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, February 18-20. The week kicks off on Monday with optional tours of NASCAR-related sites and a field tour of Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers. The President’s Reception follows, hosted by 2019 President Eric Heuver. Tuesday’s activities include the annual business meeting, several outstanding education sessions, and evening exhibit hall time. Wednesday kicks off with the Inspirational Breakfast, more cutting- edge education sessions, exhibit hall time, and the annual Show & Tell sessions with the new 2019 board of trustee members. The conference will wrap up with a big finale: the 2019 TLI Banquet and Auction at the NASCAR Hall of Fame! 2019 TLI BANQUET AND FUNDRAISING AUCTION
TLI is hosting an exciting banquet and Fundraising Auction at the NASCAR Hall of Fame to conclude the TPI 2019 International Education Conference in Charlotte. The Wednesday event is included as part of your conference registration and begins at 5:30. The evening includes a cocktail hour, NASCAR-themed competitions, a southern-themed dinner, Fundraising Auction, and a drawing for a Chevrolet Corvette, donated by Brian Bouchard of Kingston Turf. Raffle tickets will be available throughout the Conference. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is across the street from the Westin Charlotte (our host hotel) and is guaranteed to be a fun destination for the entire family! Don’t miss your chance to support TLI while networking with fellow conference attendees!
ITEMS STILL BEING ACCEPTED FOR TLI FUNDRAISING AUCTION
There is still time to offer donations for the February TLI Fundraising Auction. TLI needs your support to continue funding many beneficial initiatives, including a new PR campaign to promote the use of natural turfgrass, an extensive selection of turfgrass research projects at universities across the country, a robust schedule of turfgrass advocacy activities, and member scholarships! Items already donated include a gift certificate for R&R Products, a Green Egg Grilling Package, a trip to Australia (airfare not included), a high- quality shotgun, a gourmet dinner in your home, a steak and wine package, and more.
