Trimax Mowing Systems NEW FOR 2019 New Feature – Pegasus QuikLift Option Trimax Mowing Systems have introduced the QuikLift option to their Pegasus mowers. Also known as ‘Cross Cut,’ QuikLift enables all three mower decks to be partially lifted off the ground without the need to disengage the PTO. Using an electronic lift system and powered by the operator with the touch of a button from inside the tractor cab, decks can be lifted safely and easily, and the lift height is customizable. QuikLift improves productivity by allowing the mower to traverse gravel driveways and paths with the PTO still engaged and eliminates turf damage from mower rollers when making tight turns. QuikLift also increases roller bearing lifespan as the horizontal loading force on the bearing is eliminated and reduces tractor maintenance, mechanical wear and PTO stress. The LocTEK system is comprised of a high tensile retention bolt, heavy-duty roller bearings and extra strength tri-bolt bearing housings which provide strength, agility and protection against horizonal loading. LocTEK ensures ongoing and accurate roller alignment and prolongs bearing life—and replacement takes as little as 15 minutes. LocTEK features a new roller dome profile allowing it to be more forgiving on turf and protecting the bearing against water damage through a convex ridge on the end of rollers, stopping water pooling around bearings.
