Clasen RM 5200/RM 8600 Large-Scale Rotary Mowers The German-made Clasen RM 5200 and RM 8600 are large-scale rotary mowers designed for economy of use and ease of handling. The high quality construction is designed to balance stability and weight. The mowing decks are mounted on a tubular steel frame that is seated on soil-protecting large-dimension tires ranging from 15 x 6.00-6 to as large as 26 x 12.00-12, which results in improved operational speed. The three-deck RM 5200 has a working width of 5.20m, with five blades per deck and a power requirement of approximately 35 kW. The five-deck RM 8600 has a working width of 8.60m, with five blades per deck and a power requirement of approximately 60 kW. The driver of the towing vehicle can put the mowers into transport position while remaining seated and, with transport widths of 2.55 m and 3.00 m, even the larger RM 8600 complies with road traffic dimension regulations.
