Featuring a 22-ft. wide cutting swath, the basic design and the components used to construct a TD92 have been field proven over many years; as a result, many older mowers are still in use today. Recently Progressive introduced both maintenance free blade spindles and 100 hour greasing interval PTO shafts as standard on the TD92 saving owners time and worry about a missed greasing. Listening and responding to customers is a key step to innovation. NEW FOR 2016 N Remote Controlled Mower

A growing number of turfgrass producers are diversifying their operations and are laying and maintaining the turf they produce. The trouble is many sites are not flat and their existing mowers are not suitable. Progressive’s remote controlled Slope-Pro is capable of running on 50 degree slopes. While that attribute may not be directly applicable to sod production, the technological advancements involved in the development of the remote controlled mower have resulted in several features that also are incorporated in the larger sod mowers, and vice versa. Progressive’s drive to reduce maintenance requirements and the cost of operation includes: reducing the number of grease points, extending PTO greasing intervals, and incorporating features such as maintenance free blade spindles which are shared across all of its mower models.
