Centipede Seed:
Lawnifi Santee Centipede is now offered as a seeded variety. Its massive root system allows it to recover from damage quickly by rapidly covering the ground. The roots encourage better water and nutrient uptake from the soil making it an excellent grass selection for drought conditions. Santee Centipede Seed is a great way to fill in bare spots or to start a new centipede lawn. Santee Centipede seed grows in faster than Common Centipede and features a good fall color retention and spring green-up. Santee is an improved, more robust centipede. Leeward (DLFPS-FRC/3057) Chewings Fescue (Festuca rubra ssp. commutate) has high overall turf quality and especially high marks for disease resistance. It performs well in traffic, heat, and shade. Leeward has superior performance at all mowing heights from fairways to no mow. With high levels of naturally occurring endophyte, Leeward will repel surface feeding insects, thereby reducing stress and vulnerability to disease. Leeward is designed to be used in mixtures, typically with other fine fescues, perennial ryegrass, and Kentucky bluegrass. Lawnifi Paspalum is the newest and best seeded seashore paspalum on the market. Featuring Lawnifi fertilizer coated seed, Lawnifi Paspalum is faster to establish. Lawnifi Paspalum’s breeding objectives include a tighter density, better disease resistance, and improved spring green-up. Lawnifi Paspalum shares the benefits of vegetative paspalum such as salt tolerance once it has matured, quick recovery, dark green color, and an upright growth habit for excellent playability. As a seeded variety, Lawnifi Paspalum may be easier to acquire for countries with import restrictions on vegetative paspalums.
