BENTGRASS
BERMUDAGRASS
BLUEGRASS
007XL (MGH) creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera) is a member of the Super Bents™ with superior qualities for use on greens, tees, and fairways. 007XL produces a uniformly dense turf with a bright, medium- green leaf color. 007XL has excellent traffic tolerance and the ability to maintain a tight turf surface under an extremely low mowing height of cut, but also has shown excellent fairway performance. In addition, 007XL will not turn purple during the cool weather months and has excellent cool weather active growth. 007XL has excellent disease resistance to Dollar Spot, Brown Patch, Anthracnose, and Pink and Gray Snow Mold. After establishment, 007XL will not produce an overly thatchy and spongy turf, but it does respond well to traditional aerification and grooming practices. 007XL will not produce a turf that becomes "puffy" and "scalpy." KingdomTM
creeping bentgrass is
a new generation bentgrass with aggressive lateral growth and less top growth, allowing it to spread without growing tall. Kingdom continues the tradition of T-1 as a high quality, yet lower maintenance bentgrass that performs beautifully whether planted on moderate-budget or high-end golf courses. Developed over a period of more than ten years, Kingdom’s parentage includes selections of T-1 creeping bentgrass combined with germplasm collections from historic golf course putting greens throughout the United States. The breeding lines used to create Kingdom were screened using Jacklin’s “spot plot” Poa annua putting green for aggressiveness against Poa. Kingdom combines the world-renowned color of T-1 with great drought and traffic tolerance. It thrives across the cool, temperate regions of the world, and it is adapted well into the transition zone between warm- and cool-season areas. Barenbrug USA
