NALP presented more than 100 awards during the Awards and Recognition Celebration, recognizing achievements in safety, certification and landscape project work. NALP also inducted eight new Trailblazers, who will become the newest mentors to other industry professionals.

A few hundred new NALP members and first-time LANDSCAPES attendees enjoyed themselves at the Newcomers Reception, sponsored by Bayer. They networked with industry veterans, learned more about NALP and got tips on making the most of their trip to Louisville.

The new Young Professionals Networking Group got off to a great start, hosting their first event at LANDSCAPES and welcoming a packed crowd of more than 60 up-and-comers in the industry.

With all there is to do at LANDSCAPES and GIE+EXPO, the 40-plus education sessions are still at the heart of why people attend. Rooms were packed for the six power sessions and for the dozens of other sessions on business operations, sales and marketing, employee and HR issues and more.
