I had to learn as much as I could. I was never considered the "official historian" for the company; however, they were pleased to know there was an information source available for questions related to company heritage." Cristina always wanted to find a way to get the clubs and early car people more connected, like involving those who worked with and produced the cars from the very beginning and by working with the Lamborghini Clubs world- wide. With her typical passion for the brand, she founded "Tori e Motori" in 2008 and started getting many of the old-timers together and organizing various Lamborghini-themed events with them, always keeping her superiors informed about her outside activities. Tori e Motori (Bulls and Motors in Italian) membership includes many retired Lamborghini workers as well as many enthusiasts from around the world. Cristina goes on, "Tori e Motori is very small; I am the President, and for now,

I have no sponsors. Because of family obligations and my work, I have little time to dedicate but I do what I can. I was born in Sant'Agata and my parents still live here. I will never forget the roar of the Countach and Valentino driving them along the straight road from Sant'Agata to Crevalcore where I grew up." Her objective is to keep the Lamborghini family of the '60's, 70's, 80's together to make them understand how special they are and to honor Ferruccio Lamborgh- ini and show him how grateful the community of Sant'Agata is.

In Cristina's words: "It's a long story, I had met Ferruccio at La Fiorita (the Lamborghini Winery) before I started working at Bugatti. I had been there to visit and to buy some Sangue di Miura wine with my brother and his friend An- tonio Ferroni. Ferruccio left an indelible impression on me. As time went by, I became more involved and more and more passionate about the early brand. I un- derstand how special the Lamborghinis are, Ferruccio's world, his tractors, all of what he did. I have been building up, stone by stone, "stones of passion" and I have built a house made of these stones through the years: this is now the com- munity of Sant'Agata Bolognese. Many of those of the '60's tell me that they were born again thanks to someone who could make them feel so special: their hearts have always been filled with the Lamborghini passion, all those who worked for Ferruccio will never forget him and feel so proud."

WE HAVE BECOME AGAIN FERRUCCIO'S BIG FAMILY

Cristina was intimately involved with the events following the passing of

Bob Wallace, the legendary factory test engineer. When Bob died, his will stated that his remains be returned to Sant'Agata. His ashes were kept by his best friend, Paolo Stanzani, when Bob's brother Charlie and his wife Faeona brought them to Sant'Agata from Bob's original home, New Zealand.
