WSCA Jeff Curwen, CAE This year’s profession—WSCA
annual gathering of Washington’s chiropractic Connect ’25—delivered three days of
community, advancement and inspiration. More than just a continuing education event, the conference was a pivotal moment for practitioners to reconnect, recharge, and re-imagine their work.
Friday morning saw over 300 practitioners, vendors and staff converge in the heart of Tacoma. Attendees were greeted by the WSCA board and staff who, highlighted the association’s legislative advocacy, member engagement and the evolving landscape of chiropractic in Washington. The exhibitor hall buzzed as vendors showcased new equipment, diagnostics, software and practice- management solutions. It wasn’t all business: the networking receptions gave old colleagues a chance to reconnect, and newer faces to make meaningful introductions.
Across breakout sessions and hands-on workshops, practitioners dove into both clinical and business topics. The breadth of topic areas underscored the WSCA’s mission to support not only clinical excellence but also sound, evidence-based practice.
One key takeaway: attendees left not only with CE credits but also with actionable ideas they could bring back to their clinics. Whether it was trialing a new treatment protocol, streamlining workflows, or adopting a fresh marketing angle, the energy was tangible.
But what sets WSCA Connect apart from other chiropractic events is its dual role: elevating individual practices while advancing the profession at large. WSCA leadership emphasized this by highlighting the association’s continuing advocacy work—ensuring chiropractors in Washington have a stronger voice in legislative and regulatory arenas.

In the context of WSCA’s broader mission—supporting practice growth, regulatory clarity and intra-professional community— WSCA Connect ’25 served as both a checkpoint and a launchpad. It reminded attendees that being “cutting edge” is as much about mindset and collaboration as it is about tools.
For those who made the trip, the message was clear: you’re part of something bigger than your solo practice. WSCA Connect ’25 wasn’t just about earning CE credits—it was also about delivering the chiropractic message to patients through every aspect of practice. A separate CA-focused track was presented on Friday, attended by over four dozen non-DC clinic staffers.
As the association looks ahead, attendees return home with two big imperatives: apply and engage. Apply what you learned—whether it’s a technique, a workflow, or a connection. And engage—with your peers, with your association, with the evolving needs of your patients and your practice community. If you attended, take a moment now to reflect on your top three takeaways, pick one action you’ll start this week, and consider how you’ll stay plugged into the momentum. And if you didn’t make it this year, plan now: missing out means missing the chance to recharge and connect.
Next year’s WSCA Connect ‘26 will be held October 23-25, 2026 and will feature a two-track format with one focused on vitalistic content and the other focused on mechanistic content. Big developments are on the way for that event, so mark your calendars now and plan to be there!
