provides an opportunity for thoughtful discussion, data-driven analysis, and the development of recommendations informed by real-world experience.

Should chiropractic be selected as one of the provider professions participating in the study, the WSCA is pleased to announce that Dr. Kelly Golob has agreed to serve as our provider representative, and I will serve as the policy representative.

Dr. Golob brings extensive clinical experience, leadership, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing independent providers in today's health care environment. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to patient- centered care, professional advocacy, and the advancement of chiropractic within Washington's health care system. His experience working with federal and state legislators over the years and health carrier contracts, along with my policy work with state legislators and reimbursement issues, makes us uniquely qualified to represent the interests of Washington chiropractors during this important process.

Equally important, Dr. Golob understands that this discussion extends beyond any single profession. The issues being examined affect access to care for patients across Washington and influence the ability of independent health care providers to remain viable members of their communities. His participation will help ensure that the chiropractic profession contributes constructively to the broader conversation while advocating for policies that support fair contracting practices, sustainable reimbursement, and continued patient access to chiropractic care.

The WSCA remains committed to pursuing solutions that strengthen independent practice and protect patient choice. While the legislative efforts represented by HB 1655 and HB 1589 did not ultimately become law, they succeeded in bringing unprecedented attention to issues that have long challenged community-based providers. The transition of these discussions to the Ruckelshaus Center represents not an end, but the next phase of that work.

As the process moves forward, we will continue to keep members informed about opportunities for engagement and updates regarding the study's progress. We are grateful to the many providers, legislators, coalition partners, and advocates who have contributed to this effort and look forward to continuing the conversation in the months ahead.

The challenges facing independent providers were not created overnight, and they will not be solved overnight. However, through collaboration, thoughtful analysis, and a commitment to improving Washington's health care system, we have an opportunity to build a stronger foundation for providers and patients alike.
