• Listening to colleagues and medical specialists discuss best practices in diagnostics and care

• Seeing, in real time, how your daily clinical decisions ripple out into the legal ecosystem

Three Focused Breakout Tracks

After the joint morning session, the conference splits into three specialized tracks designed to go deep into role-specific challenges:

1. Healthcare Provider Track Chairperson: Brian Chan, DC

This track is built for chiropractors, medical doctors, physical therapists, ARNPs, and other clinicians treating MVC patients. This track gives healthcare providers a behind- the-scenes look at the PI legal process—from intake and demand package formation to litigation strategy—through the eyes of intake specialists, paralegals, trial attorneys, and a chiropractor–attorney team, so they can align their documentation and clinical decisions with what truly drives successful case outcomes.

2. Attorney Track Chairperson: Sam Elder, Trial Attorney

This track equips trial attorneys with advanced tools to present the best case, diving into neuroradiology and imaging, practical use of forensic evaluations, and real-world pros and cons of integrating AI into PI practice.

3. Paralegal & Case Manager Track Chairperson: Kyle Osborne, DC

Designed primarily for those with under two years of experience, this track gives paralegals and case managers a practical grounding in personal injury case management, including how to set a file up for success from the start, what typical spine and extremity treatment pathways look like for motor vehicle collision patients, and the ABCs of spinal imaging with MRI, X ray, and CT so they can better support their clients.

Networking that Actually Matters Many conferences promise networking.

relationships that impact day-to-day practice.

The connections built here often turn into long-term professional partnerships:

• Chiropractors meet attorneys who appreciate clear, clinically grounded documentation

• Case managers connect with providers they can trust with complex patients

• Attorneys discover clinics that communicate consistently and understand the med-legal landscape

For chiropractors who live at the intersection of clinical care and personal injury, the Washington Med-Legal Conference offers something rare: a true meeting place of medicine and law, designed to protect the very people at the center of it all—your patients.

Better outcomes begin with all of us. WMLC delivers

In personal injury, the best outcomes don’t happen in isolation. They happen when the entire team around the patient collaborates and communicates with the same end goal:

Better Care. Better Documentation. Better Outcomes.

The conference provides the environment. The attendees create the transformation. Who Should Attend?

The Washington Med-Legal Conference is designed for any professional who helps patients injured in motor-vehicle collisions, including:

• Chiropractors committed to delivering world-class care for their injured patients

• Personal-injury attorneys who want to secure the best possible outcomes for their clients

• Paralegals and case managers eager to understand the full care journey for their clients

• Medical doctors, physical therapists, and ARNPs involved in treating MVC-related injuries

At its core, WMLC is for professionals who show up fully for patients and demand excellence from themselves and their community.
