First-Ever WSCA Spring Connect Conference a Success!

Jeff Curwen, CAE WSCA Executive Director

Against the scenic backdrop of springtime in Wenatchee, the Washington State Chiropractic Association delivered one of its most successful events to date with WSCA Spring Connect ’26—a sold-out gathering that underscored both the growth and momentum of chiropractic care across the region.

Held April 11–12 at the Confluence Technology Center, the conference marked a milestone as the association’s first multi-day continuing education event hosted in Eastern Washington. The shift east proved to be more than geographic—it represented a broader effort to expand access, strengthen statewide connections, and bring high-level professional development closer to practitioners across Washington. And despite expectations that it would be attended almost exclusively by east-side doctors, all ten districts across the state were represented.

The response was immediate and emphatic. Registration reached capacity ahead of the event, with both attendee spots and exhibitor booths selling out—a clear signal of the demand for in-person learning and networking opportunities. Doctors of chiropractic, clinic staff, and industry partners converged for a weekend that blended clinical education, business insights, and community-building.

Over the course of two days, attendees engaged in a robust slate of sessions on neurology, diagnostic imaging, regulatory updates, and patient management. The breadth of topics reflected the evolving complexity of modern chiropractic practice, where clinical excellence must be paired with operational savvy and compliance awareness. Whether in the lecture hall or informal conversations between sessions, the emphasis remained on elevating patient care and strengthening practices.

Equally notable was the energy on the trade show floor. With exhibitor space fully booked, attendees had the opportunity to connect with a wide range of vendors with the latest in equipment, technology, and services supporting chiropractic offices. The exhibit hall served as both a marketplace of ideas and a hub for relationship-building—an essential component of the Spring Connect experience.

Beyond the structured programming, the event fostered a strong sense of community. From first-time attendees to seasoned practitioners, participants shared insights, exchanged experiences, and built connections that will extend well beyond the weekend. For many, the ability to gather in person—after years of increasing reliance on virtual learning— and not having to travel all the way to the Puget Sound was a highlight in itself.

The success of WSCA Spring Connect ’26 signals a promising trajectory for future WSCA events. Organizers have already announced that next year’s conference will take place May 22–23, 2027, setting the stage for continued growth and engagement. With this year’s event establishing a new benchmark, expectations are high for what’s to come (spoiler alert…you can look forward to more hands-on technique, philosophy, and a more social experience).

As the chiropractic profession continues to evolve, gatherings like WSCA Spring Connect play a vital role in uniting practitioners around shared goals: clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and professional advancement. In Wenatchee, those goals were not only discussed—they were energized, celebrated, and set in motion for the year ahead.
