Invitation to Participate in an Artificial Intelligence Research Study

William Moreau, DC, DACBSP, FACSM

Dear Students and Doctors of Chiropractic, You are invited to participate in a research study titled:

Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence in Chiropractic Education and Practice

This scholarly project begins February 20, 2026, and will be conducted over a three-month period.

The purpose of this study is to examine and compare perceptions, attitudes, and readiness regarding the use of artificial intelligence in chiropractic education and clinical practice. We are seeking input from both chiropractic students and licensed practicing Doctors of Chiropractic.

Specifically, the study will assess:

• Perceived usefulness of AI tools in education and clinical settings

• Concerns regarding risks and ethical considerations • Confidence in adapting to AI-supported technologies • Perceived need for formal AI-related training within chiropractic curricula and continuing education

As artificial intelligence continues to influence healthcare delivery, documentation, diagnostics, and patient communication, it is important that the chiropractic profession thoughtfully evaluates how these tools should be integrated. Your perspective will directly inform future curriculum development and continuing education strategies focused on responsible and effective AI implementation.

Participation involves completing a brief survey and should require approximately 10–15 minutes of your time. Responses will be collected anonymously.

Your insight is valuable. Whether you are highly enthusiastic about AI, cautious about its role, or somewhere in between, your experience and perspective matter.

Thank you for considering participation in this scholarly effort. Sincerely,

William J. Moreau, DC, DACBSP, FACSM Patrick Helma, DC, DACBSP

Kaylee Shaben, Chiropractic Intern, University of Western States
