Established in 1833, Stephens College is best known for fashion design and performing arts, not basketball.

A standout player at Chicago’s Fenger High School, Andre was a three-year starter and all-conference player and team captain. He was also an all-conference linebacker for the Titans football team. Andre went on to play college hoops at Wilbur Wright College in  While playing, Andre was also watching. Growing up, he looked


  remembered, “the impact they had on the players. I always said when I was done playing, I wanted to give back to the game of bas- ketball. I felt like this was my calling.”   After a stint as a high school coach back in Chicago and then as an  his tenure as the Stephens College head coach. He brought new life to the program. The Stars began to shine. - gram like few others. His support for others is evident in all he does.       
