Puttshack


Puttshack, an entertainment concept that combines tech- infused mini golf with food and drink, named Logan Powell as its next CEO. Powell previously served as global president and CFO of Puttshack since 2019. He succeeds Joe Vrankin, who oversaw the company’s growth in the United Kingdom as CEO and subsequently brought the concept to the United States in 2021. Powell and Vrankin have collaborated on this transition, as Vrankin will be moving on from the company. “I deeply believe in the Puttshack brand and am honored to have the opportunity to grow our concept and further establish Puttshack as a true leader and innovator,” Powell said. “As competitive socializing continues to appeal to multiple generations, I look forward to working with our leadership team to further our focus on driving innovation, operational excellence, best-in-class hospitality, and sustainable growth across the U.S.” As global president and chief financial officer, Powell played an instrumental role in spearheading the growth and development of the social entertainment brand over the past five years. He also brings a deep knowledge of corporate development, strategic planning and operations and mergers and acquisitions to the position. “I have seen firsthand Logan’s exceptional abilities as a leader and his passion for Puttshack,” said Dave Diamond, Puttshack president. “I’m incredibly confident in his ability to lead Puttshack and execute our long-term vision. Starbucks Ricard Arias-Nath has joined Starbucks as the senior vice president and president of Starbucks Latin America and the Caribbean, where he will lead more than 1,600 stores in 20 markets.


Arias-Nath has more than 25 years of experience in general management, strategy, marketing and business transformation. Most recently, he drove the “farm to shelf” strategy across Latin America for PepsiCo’s food and beverage products. He held a variety of roles at the drink brand, including senior vice president of strategy and transformation, chief marketing officer for beverages and franchise general manager.


Tony Roma’s Tony Roma’s appointed Mohaimina “Mina” Haque as CEO. Under her leadership, Tony Roma’s said it would embrace a renewed focus and reinvent itself as a “52-year-old startup,” by optimizing global operations, driving international growth and advancing innovative strategies to shape the brand’s future. Haque is a seasoned attorney and founder of The Law Office of Mohaimina Haque, PLLC. Since 2021, she has served as Tony Roma’s outside counsel, managing global legal matters and providing strategic guidance. An official member of the Forbes Business Council, Haque’s deep expertise in business and franchise law has been pivotal in driving the brand’s recent transformation, the company said.

Haque leadership is centered on two key strategies designed to drive Tony Roma’s resurgence. She has spearheaded a comprehensive review of operations, identifying and eliminating inefficiencies to reduce costs and enhance productivity across global locations. Secondly, Haque has realigned Tony Roma’s offerings to match the evolving tastes and expectations of modern diners, with the intent of strengthening the brand and positioning it as a leader in the rapidly changing restaurant industry.

Topgolf Topgolf named Erin Chamberlin as its new COO. Chamberlin joined the company from PENN Entertainment Inc., the largest provider of gaming entertainment in North America, where she served as a senior vice president of regional operations since 2019.


In her new role, Chamberlin will be responsible for Topgolf’s globally owned and operated venue experience, including the player experience, operational excellence, Topgolf technology, food and beverage innovation, supply chain and culinary operations. She will be a part of the executive leadership team and will report to Topgolf CEO Artie Starrs. “Erin’s extensive background as a leader in one of the most complex and dynamic hospitality categories will be a great benefit to all of us at Topgolf,” Starrs said. “We’re fortunate to have found a leader who has the expertise for the role and embraces our brand’s playful spirit as we further strengthen and solidify the unique Topgolf experience we deliver to players.” Chamberlin comes to Topgolf with over 20 years of


progressive experience operating large, consumer-facing organizations in highly competitive markets. During her time at PENN, Chamberlin oversaw operational responsibility for nine of the company’s network of casinos across the country, supervised PENN’s horse racing operations and was the chair of PENN Women Resource Group. Before PENN, she held various operations leadership roles with Caesars Entertainment at Horseshoe Baltimore, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Las Vegas, Horseshoe Hammond and Caesars Atlantic City.
