This year, we will be together at Bonclarken from Monday, July 28th through Thursday, July 31st. Our conference theme is Worship & the Psalms. The Psalter is an incred- ible resource that God gave his people. Through the psalms, we learn better what it means to pray to and praise the Psalm 27:4, “One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. the Spirit recognized that we were cre- ated to worship. That is the one thing about our life that is the main thing. This summer, we hope that God will help us to worship him better in spirit and in truth. We will plumb the depths of our rich heritage by exploring the psalms. And we will exercise both of these things as we gather into his pres- ence, morning and evening, to pray his Word and to praise him with the Word and to hear his Word preached. On behalf of the planning team, I invite you to enter his gates with thanksgiving and to come into his courts with praise.
If you or members of your church are in the area, we warmly invite you to join us for a two-day Evangelism Conference on October 10 and 11. Our speaker will be Rev. Jeremiah Montgomery, General Secretary of the Com- mittee on Home Missions and Church Extension in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC). Jeremiah is a gifted and engaging communicator, and he will be helping us grow in the vital work of personal evangelism; helping us to think on how to share the gospel with clarity, conviction, and compassion. We hope you can join us for this encouraging and practical time of equipping!
