family but as a kid, my family went to the state fair every single year and my favor- ite memory is walking with my grandma, Gigi, to get the best-looking funnel cake, and taking her over to the little dragon roller coaster. She would wait on the side as I would use every last one of my tick- ets to go around and around and around ‘till every ticket was gone. Carnivals are about spending time with your family and creating those memories, and I look forward to them every year.
