s the Circus Hall of Fame team looks for- ward to an exciting 2026 season, here’s a look back at a few of their 2025 highlights.


Donation Last season started out with an amazing donation


we received of Robert Weaver prints that had been for sale on the family’s website. Many are signed and num- bered. Included among these prints were various orig- inal sketches that Robert Weaver had either started or completed. We had the great opportunity to donate two of these


sketches to the Peru Community Schools Art Gallery featuring the G. David Thompson collection of Pablo Piccaso, Salvador Dali andRobertWeaverpieces among many others. Robert Weaver had created two abstract sketches. They had nothing to do with his love of music or the circus which made them unique in their own right. Also found among these original sketches was one of Clyde Beatty and his rollover tiger. This was obviously


the start of his oil painting hanging in the Circus City Festival Circus Museum. This sketch was also donated to the Circus City Festival.


Displays We set up a large display of costumes, posters, photo-


graphs and an elephant blanket on loan from Randy Jackson of Fort Wayne, IN at the Kokomo Arts Association for the months of May and June last year. Visitors were struck with our Icelandic Giant Side Show Banner hanging high above the first floor. We had some HO scale Circus models on display along


with works of art by Art Johns and Robert Weaver. We had showfolks costumes and posters from various circuses and photographs of days gone by. The display was well received and plans are in the works for a similar display in 2026 at another Gallery.
