NIRI Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter Builds Momentum in Engagement and Strategy

A full-day IR Summit highlights a year of learning opportunities. BY FATMA MANSOUR

T

his year, the NIRI Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter (NIRI DFW) has continued to evolve as a hub for strategic thought lead- ership and professional development to meet the complex

needs of today’s investor relations (IR) professionals. Te success of NIRI DFW has been driven by its newly engaged

board and the support of its generous sponsors. Troughout the year, board members have worked tirelessly to bring together and promote in-person events, identify and engage sponsors to make the events possible, and team up to reach out to NIRI members and non-members to ensure a packed house at every event. Te

chapter’s momentum seems to be at its highest point since the pandemic in 2020. In February 2024, the chapter offered a program centered

on environmental, social, and governance (ESG), an area that continues to dominate the conversation among investor relations professionals. The session, “ESG Fusion – Integrating Strategy and Effective Communication,” set a powerful tone for the year. A panel of industry experts examined the essential processes, data management strategies, and stakeholder engagement practices needed to create impactful and credible ESG disclosures.
