(PTSD) upon its termination (e.g., Moreno-Alcázar et al., 2017). To better treat PTSD, I pursued training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy through workshops, consultation calls, and advanced instruction for its use with children. My intent in providing information about my integration of EMDR and play therapy is to help readers familiar with and formally trained in both these interventions to better understand these applications in their own practice. It would be unethical for therapists to integrate EMDR and play therapy without solid foundations and supervised practice in both approaches.
