Either a certificate or written statement with a list of the company’s vehicle identification num- bers can be used by a community man- ager or other entity as proof of verifica- tion the hired fleet/vehicle is compliant.


Private communities must obtain a copy of the certificate or other proof of com- pliance annually. CARB also posts the names and motor carrier numbers of the fleets that have reported compliance in TRUCRS at www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/ onrdiesel/tblookup.php. You may save the screen shot digitally as long as the TRUCRS Certificate is legible. It is not a requirement for companies hired by you to e-mail you their certificate. However, if that is an effective way for your company to collect copies of the TRUCRS Certificates or written state- ments, then your company/community can require it.
