Supporting Community Association Managers:

Julie Carter, CMCA, AMS, PCAM of Lake Forest Community Association

At the heart of every thriving community association is a dedicated community association manager who tirelessly works to ensure the smooth operation of the community. At the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Orange County Chapter, we understand the pivotal role our community managers play in fostering community harmony and excellence. That’s why we’re proud to announce the Community Association Managers Support Committee, a dynamic team committed to providing valuable services to these unsung heroes.

Our committee’s mission is to empower managers through education, recognition, and support, and we achieve this through a range of essential services.

Twice-Yearly Manager Educational Breakfasts As we believe knowledge is power, community association managers should be equipped with the latest insights and best practices in community management. Our educational breakfasts are a cornerstone of our commitment to continuous learning. These informative sessions cover topics vital to managers, such as legal updates, effective communication, and crisis management. Attendees gain invaluable insights and networking opportunities, ensuring they remain at the forefront of the industry.

PCAM Reception Becoming a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) is a signifi cant achievement. Our committee celebrates the journey that led to this achievement with an exclusive PCAM reception, a prestigious event that recognizes both newly installed PCAMs and current PCAMs.

It’s a moment to honor their dedication and commitment to excellence, fostering a sense of community within our professional network.

Educational Rebates Investing in education is essential for career growth. We understand the fi nancial commitments associated with continuing education, and that’s why we offer educational rebates for managers pursuing courses within CAI, including the M100 and M200 courses and the PCAM Case Study. These rebates alleviate the fi nancial burden and empower managers to pursue advanced education, resulting in better service to their communities.

The Community Association Managers Support Committee is dedicated to elevating the profession of community association managers. We believe that by providing these services, we contribute to the overall well-being of the communities they serve. Together, we aim to create a brighter future for community association management, fostering stronger, more prosperous communities.
