Happy 2023! I am so excited and humbled to be your Chapter President for 2023! This past year we were able to move forward with many new opportunities and overcome new challenges as we navigated ourselves back into the world we knew before COVID-19. My hope and goal this year is to Aspire to Inspire each and every one of you. We need to really look at what motivates us, what keeps this industry moving, and how our volunteer efforts are working. What can we do to continue to be leaders in our industry? Whether you are a business partner, a manager, or a homeowner leader, how can we inspire others to be a part of this amazing industry and be inspired?
So many of us fi nd ourselves overworked and trying to fi nd the work-life balance. We want to volunteer, but how does that fi t into our schedules? This takes everyone to work collectively as a village and put all of our thoughts, our efforts, and our time together for the greater good. I challenge you to fi nd your passion, something you enjoy, and be a part of this amazing chapter. It is rewarding if you allow it to be. There will be
different levels of volunteerism. Not everyone has the ability to volunteer in the same way, and that’s OK. Just get started.
I would love to see us moving forward with the knowledge of how important good mental health is for our success. So much of what we learn through CAI is to give us the tools to work more effi ciently and productively and to alleviate our stress. Let’s band together for a positive year with many new and exciting events, educational learning formats, and best of all ‒ the opportunity to meet new people who inspire us and give us the ability to aspire to great things.
We will be highlighting our mentorship program, which is important for our growth and emerging leaders in our industry. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you at one of our many events. Please reach out with ideas or any positive ways to inspire each other and continue to make our chapter shine. I’m excited to see us be all we can be. Let’s Aspire to Inspire!
