2021 session could look similar to the end of 2020 session, with no meet- ings taking place with legislators in their Capitol offices. The MDA team is discussing ways to effectively hold a virtual legislative day event, and to especially welcome the many new leg- islators to ensure they know and trust the MDA as the state’s oral healthcare authority. Also, as important as an annual legislative day event is meeting lawmakers in their home districts on a consistent basis. Thus, the MDA will be seeking to help members success- fully do that to keep local connections strong. Additionally, even with limited access to the Capitol, the MDA’s lobby team will have a consistent presence at the Capitol. We will provide additional information to members as it be- comes available. f
