Annual Conference & Trade

In 2017, the ISI unites with the Minnesota Ice Arena Manager’s Association (MIAMA) to serve up an exceptional joint conference and trade show in Minneapolis. Scheduled May 30 – June 2, this event will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington – Minneapolis South.

Located just minutes from the Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport and the world- renowned Mall of America, the DoubleTree is centrally located within close proximity to the Twin Cities’ many attractions, including Target Field (home of the Minnesota Twins), the Minnesota Zoo, numerous golf courses, theaters, restaurants, clubs and shops. The nearby historic Mill District, one of the oldest areas of Minneapolis, offers museums, parks and walking tours of the riverfront.

The ISI/MIAMA Ice Arena Conference & Trade Show promises to deliver rewarding professional development opportunities for all those who work

in the ice sports industry, from ice arena operators to skating coaches.

Three iAIM track offerings, plus the new Advanced Skating Director course, will be available, as well as a one-day certificate course for managers/ operators. A special weSKATE Instructor training will be offered in which coaches will be able to gain certification for levels Freestyle 1-10. On-ice sessions will take place at Bloomington Ice Garden.

Watch for more information at skateisi.org/ conference, in ISI email and in the 2017 Conference & Trade Show prospectus in the next issue of EDGE.
