Sandy Wittmann, District 10 test chair, reported that we

have had the following number of skaters pass high-level tests in our district over the past year: six FS 8, four FS 9 and two FS 10. Tank you to all of our district coaches and programs that recognize the importance of high-level skaters continuing with the ISI testing and competition programs. Congratulations to all of these skaters on such great accomplishments! I am happy to report that all 10 of our district competitions

have secured dates for their competitions for the upcoming season. Competitions can be a great source of revenue for your facility and coaches and a great experience for your skaters. I have received much feedback from coaches and skating

directors regarding the discontinuation of plans to merge ISI and PSA. All of the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. ISI has such great programs to offer to such a wide range of skaters, and it is good to know that people feel so passionately about them and didn’t want to see changes. Now it is up to us to keep ISI growing as we move forward; be sure to keep your professional memberships current and register ALL skaters from your facilities! We all need to do our part to make sure the ISI continues to not only grow, but thrive.
