The 70s made a comeback this year at our 2021 Annual Conference & Expo and I think we were successful! These last few months have been a whirlwind of 70s quotes, disco music, catching myself saying, “groovy,” and holding up the peace sign!
Summer has been off to a great start. We recently just had our first in-person event at Top Golf, our first in-person, indoor event, our 2021 Annual Conference & Expo, and our virtual trade show. I have to say it’s been a groovy time! Everyone was laughing, smiling, having a good time, and of course staying safe. Be on the lookout on our social media pages as we continue to post pictures from the trade show and everyone’s 70’s outfit! Who wore the disco ball outfit the best? You’ll also see a few other new experiences we added this year such as our Pet Pavilion thanks to sponsors BB&T now Truist and Philadoptables, and a really cool green Chevy Camaro courtesy of David Velasco and JGS Insurance.
With the first half of the year over already, I am very excited to announce that Keystone CAI’s membership is continuing to grow! Thank you to all of our chapter members who stuck it out with us through 2020 and to all our new members who have joined to see all that CAI has to offer! A special thank you to our members who continue to recruit and help the chapter grow. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed!
Speaking of the conference and membership, I’m pleased to say that the expo was a very successful event in terms of reaching out to new members. We had about a dozen or so new managers and homeowners attend the show for their first time! I was able to meet a few of the new member attendees and I look forward to meeting everyone at other events throughout the year.
We have exciting things happening within the chapter for the rest of the year! I encourage you to tell everyone about your experiences with CAI, renew your membership when the time comes, and keep active in the chapter.
