engineer at Unger Construction in Sacramento and former Treasurer of the AGC Student Chapter at Chico State, his passion for the building industry is rooted in his family’s involvement in it.

“Our construction legacy began with

my grandfather’s humble beginning as a carpenter, eventual transition into heavy construction, and ultimately, ownership of his own general engineering contractor company,” Trieloff said. “My uncles have carried on the construction tradition within our family, providing me with early opportunities for job shadowing and mentorship.” Trieloff served as student chapter

treasurer for two terms before gradu- ating with a BS in construction management and joining Unger Construction in 2018. He immediately got engaged with the AGC Emerging Leaders (formerly CLC) at the regional, state and national levels. “Over the last five years, AGC

I am determined to carry the torch and follow in my family’s footsteps, both as a builder and as an advocate for contractors.” Trieloff is currently working as the

acting project manager for Unger on an elevator modernization project and operating room upgrade project within an active healthcare facility. “Looking

forward, I hope to be able to continue working with my current mentors and live up to the incredible examples they have set,” he added. “I do not have words to describe how incredibly grateful and appreciative I am to those who have placed their faith in me. I have never felt so empowered, inspired, and fulfilled.” His advice for people entering the

industry? “Never say no to an oppor- tunity, always advocate for yourself, take initiative and display your excitement so it is impossible to miss.”
