BUILDING FUTURE LEADERS
The 3 Pillars of AGC’s Emerging Leaders:
the same space to be able to share industry knowledge—I feel like that’s one of the biggest benefits.”
Variety of Events Planned Te EL plans a variety of events,
activities and educational offerings in the year ahead. At the statewide level, the group expects to have a large presence at #CONSTRUCT2021, presented by Procore, in Palm Springs this November. Te EL will officially re-launch with its new name and brand identity at this annual AGC of California conference, which will be held in person for the first time in two years.
Each of EL’s three California
regions – the North-Central region, encompassing Sacramento and the Central Valley, the Bay Area region and the Southern California region – will also host their own events

and programs throughout the year. Examples include the recent Speakeasy event in July, which featured a presen- tation from industry leader Talin Espinoza with MNS Engineers on how to gain the trust and respect of mangers and build a foundation from which careers can grow and thrive; a Corn Hole competition planned as an in-person networking event in Southern California in September; and events planned for 2022 such as a new monthly member orientation, jobsites tours, lunch and learns, and more. Finally, there will be plenty of
opportunities to give back to the local community with a continuation of regional community service projects that will be organized in each of the EL regions. To see all that the new EL has to
offer, visit them on AGC’s website at
