its image with a renewed focus on people and culture. The timing could not be better for Dina Kimble to make history as the first female and first specialty contractor member to serve as President of California’s oldest and largest construction association. A third-generation President and CEO

of Sacramento-based Royal Electric Co., Kimble was installed alongside the entire slate of 2022 officers and executive board during the AGC Installation and Awards Gala on March 11, 2022 in Huntington Beach. Kimble said she is “humbled and hon-

Dina Kimble: Up Close

Age: 45 Family: Married to husband, Darrin, for 20 years; they have two teens: son, Bennett (17), and daughter, Lia (15). Keeping the Business in the Family? Just like my dad, I don’t want to put any pressure on them like that. But I’m definitely passionate about the industry, so if my kids decide it’s something they are interested in, I would wholeheartedly support it! Heritage: Proud Italian American. Hobbies: Our family loves to travel, both abroad and in our RV around the state. Favorite Places: Italy, any time! We also love the California coast, Dillon Beach and Silver Lake.
