with AGC and later CEO for the California Partnership for Jobs, to help establish the first partnership between AGC and LA Metro and ultimately to form their first Private/ Public Liaison Board. Tis partnership has supported the development of high-quality transportation options in the Los Angeles area.
4 SPECIALTY CONTRACTOR
ACHIEVEMENT AWARD Greg Timmerman, ISEC, Inc. Greg Timmerman began his career with ISEC, Inc. in 1988 and has advanced through lead- ership and operational roles in the company’s Colorado, Washington, and California offices.
He has been responsible for significant leadership development, oversight of multiple locations, and building strong relationships with ISEC’s regional teams, key clients, and supply chain partners. In 2021, he was pro- moted to President and CEO. Timmerman also serves as a Vice President
– Specialty Contractors on the AGC of Califor- nia Executive Committee and as a Director on the Orange County Board of Directors. He is passionate about supporting many other professional and community organizations. Active in many facets of AGC and a strong
partner to the association, he has provided strong, wide-ranging leadership on the AGC Specialty Contractors Council, pushing it to engage in topics and issues impacting specialty contractors within AGC and the industry at large.
5 ASSOCIATE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD Mary Grandy, EPIC Insurance Brokers A highly engaged leader with AGC of Cali- fornia for nearly a decade, Mary Grandy is well-recognized in the insurance and con- struction industry. Since 1995 she held pro- gressively higher roles with AAA, USAA, the Leavitt Group, and EPIC Insurance Brokers.
Grandy’s in-depth expertise in litigated
construction claims have made her a standout within the industry and a recipient of several construction and insurance industry accolades. She received the Construction Financial Man- agement Association’s national Joe Quigley Memorial Chapter Award in 2019 and was named one of Insurance Business America’s 2020 Elite Women in the insurance industry. Within AGC, Grandy is currently serving her second rotation on the AGC State Board and as Chair of the Delta Sierra District. She was a highly effective Chair of the Associates Council in 2015 and 2016. Her leadership during major transitions
within AGC has been critical, while her in- volvement with the Delta-Sierra District has helped increase engagement and growth. While serving as District Vice Chair in 2018 and 2019 and Chair in 2020, the Delta-Sierra District recorded three consecutive years of strong net growth in membership.
