MBA Foundation Awards Five InternConnect Scholarships
The Missouri Bankers Foundation awarded five $1,000 MBA InternConnect scholarships to college students who interned at Missouri banks in 2022. The MBA InternConnect program encourages students majoring in a banking-related discipline to explore careers in the Missouri banking industry. Applications for the 2023 InternConnect scholarship will be available this summer.
Kaitlyn Buker is an intern at Central Bank of Boone County in
Columbia. Her supervisor is Mary DiBlosi, vice president/ relationship banking manager. Buker is studying agribusiness management at the University of Missouri — Columbia and will graduate in May 2025.
Kendrick Edwards was an intern at Central Bank in Springfield. His
supervisor was Teri Cantwell, senior vice president of human resources. Edwards is studying business at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield and will graduate in May 2023.
Sofia Kelly was an intern at Peoples Bank in Cuba. Her supervisor was Becky
Smith, vice president of human resources. Kelly is studying finance at Evangel University in Springfield and will graduate in May 2024.
Kaleb Pecher was an intern at Jefferson Bank in Jefferson City. His supervisor
was Erin Evans, branch manager and business banking manager. Pecher is studying finance and banking at University of Missouri — Columbia and will graduate in December 2023.
Megan VanLoo was an intern at Central Bank in Jefferson City.
Her supervisor was David Meyer, senior vice president/ government division. VanLoo is studying finance at Lindenwood University in St. Charles. She
will graduate in May 2024.
