NextGen Reflects Diverse Range, Experience of Bankers
After much discussion and input from the division board, MBA rebranded the Young Bankers Leadership Division to Next Generation in Banking. Te new name better reflects MBA’s goal to attract a more diverse range of bank staff — from those new to the industry to those with many years of experience.
Next Generation in Banking, or NextGen for short, is designed for bankers who are interested in opportunities to further develop skills in leadership, advocacy and volunteerism.
NextGen members receive exclusive access to customized education and social events, unique volunteer opportunities and advocacy training. Members also have access to a private LinkedIn Group to engage, pose questions and develop relationships with peers and thought leaders within the banking industry.
Although the name is new, our mission remains the same — to enhance and foster the development of Missouri’s next generation of banking professionals.
