here is something absolutely beautiful about springtime in this part of the world! All of na- ture announces that a new day is here. The


vibrant colors, the refreshing breezes, the buzzing of bumblebees, and that fresh layer of pollen on the car! (OK, not everything is splendid…) The idea of new life is so pregnant in the Bible. The


Old Testament prophets constantly envision a day when the land of Israel would spring forth in fruit,        ability to contain it. Such a day would accompany the promised Messiah and the people who lived with him in obedience to the Lord --in this way, and on that day…God would keep His promise to “renew all things.” But is THAT day ever really coming? Of             fruits” of a bountiful harvest that the Lord is planning to reap to Himself. As Christians, we ourselves con- tain the “seed promise” of the Holy Spirit who is the - ment of the Old Testament prophecies: a people who live according to a covenant righteousness that causes  You don’t need to be a country church to realize


this! The Lord has His saints planted in so many loca- tions to announce with vibrancy that God is making all things new again! All of the world, and the Word, speaks of the newness of life. Let us join with all cre- ation and sing to the Lord!
